On May 22nd, CEC party committee held meeting of party branch secretaries to deploy task of collecting special party dues to support the earthquake relief work. A large number of party members positively responded to the committee"s call and rendered special party dues to dedicate love to the quake victims.
By May 26th, 153 communists rendered special party dues of 199,280 yuan in total, among which 82 party members contributed more than 1,000 yuan voluntarily. Additionally, 2,600 yuan were received from non-party members in this donation activity.
Special party dues received to be all handed to the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, who will transfer the dues to the earthquake-hit area.
